Preparing for Your Hypnotherapy Session

We're excited to work with you to help you achieve your goals through the power of hypnosis. Below, you'll find some tips and suggestions to help you make the most of your session.

Good Internet Connection

Ensure you have a good internet connection to ensure the quality of your session. You can test your connection by using a speed test tool online.

Consider using headphones or earbuds to ensure you can hear all my instructions clearly.

Set an intention

Before your session, take some time to think about what you want to achieve. Do you want to overcome a specific fear or habit? Improve your self-confidence? Reduce stress or anxiety? Write down your intention and bring it with you to your session.

Find a quiet, comfortable space

Choose a space where you can relax and focus without distraction. This could be a quiet room in your home or office, or even a peaceful outdoor setting. Make sure you're in a comfortable position, either seated or lying down. Ensure you will not be disturbed for the duration of the session. Turn off your phone and any other distractions to ensure that you can fully engage in the session.

Hydrate

Make sure you're well-hydrated before your session. Drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol or caffeine, which can interfere with the hypnosis process.

Wear comfortable clothing

Choose loose, comfortable clothing that won't restrict your movement or distract you during the session.

Be open and willing

Hypnosis is a collaborative process, and your willingness to participate and follow instructions is key to achieving success. Be open to the experience and trust your hypnotherapist.

Health Check

Before your hypnotherapy session, it's important to consider a health check with your doctor. Hypnotherapy is generally safe for most people, but it's always a good idea to consult with your doctor if you have any concerns about your health.

Health Insurance

Check your health insurance, if you have it. Most hypnotherapists have their own private practice in the UK, but there are some health care insurance companies who will cover for hypnotherapy treatment. Check with your insurance provider to see if you're covered.

We hope these tips help you feel prepared and ready for your hypnotherapy session. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We look forward to working with you!
